Adam Curry en Micky Hoogendijk gaan trouwen. Gisteravond is Adam tijdens zonsondergang op zijn knieën gegaan. De twee zijn sinds 2009 bij elkaar.

Dat melden de twee op Twitter. 'She said Yes!', twitterde Curry gisteravond. Micky liet weten hoe Adam haar ten huwelijk vroeg: 'A perfect sunset, the most beautiful location, the man I love on his knees. We're getting married!'
Adam Curry verliet zijn ex-vrouw Patricia Paay in mei 2009 na een relatie van twintig jaar voor Micky Hoogendijk. Samen hebben Paay en Curry een dochter, Christina. Christina woont momenteel in Los Angeles. Patricia heeft sinds 2010 een relatie met de 34 jaar jongere Nicky van Dam.
Christina feliciteerde het stel ook via Twitter: 'Congrats to my dad who proposed to his abnormally tall girlfriend today! welcome 2 the fam @MickyHoogendijk, stop making me look so short.'
